Refund policy
At RivaKart (owned and operated by Rinku), we strive to ensure your complete satisfaction with every purchase. If you are not entirely happy with your order, we are here to assist you with a professional and transparent return process.
1. Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a return or exchange, you must initiate your request within 30 days of receiving your item.
Additionally, your item must meet the following criteria:
- Items must be in the same condition as received.
- Items must be unworn or unused, with all original tags attached.
- Items must be in their original packaging.
- A valid receipt or proof of purchase is required.
2. Initiating a Return

If your return is accepted, we will provide you with a return shipping label and detailed instructions. Items sent back to us without a prior return request will not be accepted.
3. Damages and Discrepancies
Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt. Contact us within 48 hours if the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item so we can evaluate the issue and rectify it promptly.
In such cases, you can choose to request a refund, an exchange, or a replacement for the same item.
4. Non-Returnable Items
Certain items are exempt from being returned:
- Custom Products: Special orders or personalized items.
- Sale Items: Items purchased on sale cannot be returned.
5. Exchange / Replacement Policy
We offer exchanges or replacements only in cases of product defect or damage caused during transit. Customers have a 48-hour window from the date of delivery to initiate an exchange.
5.1 Exchange/Replacement Process
Once your exchange request is initiated, the following schedule applies:
- Step 1: Return Pickup & Inspection (3–5 Business Days) After your request is approved, our courier will collect the original item. Upon arrival at our facility, it undergoes a quality inspection.
- Step 2: Processing (1–2 Business Days) Once the inspection is cleared, your new selected item is prepared for dispatch.
- Step 3: New Item Delivery (5–7 Business Days) Your exchanged item will be shipped via our standard priority courier service.
5.2 How to Initiate an Exchange Request

Pack the item securely in its original box.
6. Refunds and Timelines
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval status.
- If approved, you will be automatically refunded via your original payment method within 10 business days.
- Please note that banks or credit card companies may require additional time to post the refund to your account.
